The pilonoroot split from its ancestor and now completely lacks roots. To make up for this its leaves "fur" is thicker. Its yellow fruits are still hollow to float in water. The ones living in the Ittiz Salt Bog mainly collect dying colonies of various dead flora to supply them with nutrients.
