The pestilence genus group replaced common cooties, green snarf, voot syndrome and all other disease causing organisms descended from the plent fever. They are the most common disease causing group on Sagan 4 and various members infect most if not all multicellular organisms. Some can be deadly and devastate entire biomes, but most just cause sickness and easily fought off infections. They can be found both on land and in water, basically anywhere there is a host available there will be a species.
