Ancestor:Descendants:

The peliplent split from the seaplent. It has developed a pelican-like mouth sack to scoop up prey. It has thorn-like teeth in its mouth which it uses to hold onto its prey, too. Its wing muscles have grown stronger to carry the prey and eat it while in flight. Its whole body has streamlined more and its legs have gotten smaller and flatter as well.
