The marephasmatis was once the prey of the glittering deepworm. But now one branch of the marephasmatis has become a parasite to the glittering deepworm. Parasite marephasmatis is smaller than the other marephasmatis and is a parasite to them too. The creature drifts in the deep seas until it gets near its host, when it launches itself with high speed and then sticks to the skin with its membrane. It can sit there for many years, so as long as the creature do not try to remove it. Most creatures, however, have a hard time trying to remove this parasite.
