Though not as majestic as the snow capped mountains of Maineiac Peak, Osiris Mons is certainly more active, and, as a result, much more dangerous. In a state of near constant eruption, the shield volcano is one of the most active volcanoes on Sagan IV. These sometimes weeks-long eruptions have driven much of the life out of the immediate vicinity, and filled some of the Razo Lava Tube Caves to the south with its flaming hot lava. The volcanic smoke and flames can be seen from kilometers around, and its display lights up the night sky within distance.
