The orange spore sprout split from its ancestor and have adapted to life out of water. Their ancestor however died out due to the abundance of its relative the mavrophyte. They gain energy by photosynthesis and by drinking water. They reproduce asexually by releasing a shower of spores that are carried away with the wind, the spores grow at an impressive rate. The spores are stored in a huge chamber inside the orange spore sprout and are released when the chamber is full. When many of the orange spore sprouts release their spores at the same time, the spores can actually choke small animals. Due to their successful reproduction the orange spore sprout is extremely numerous.
