The nogapsid replaced its ancestor in the Krakow Plains. They live the lives of opportunistic omnivores. They grew powerful back legs and hips. These allow them to stand upright to grab fruit or to jump and surprise their prey. They must spring on them because nogapsids are sluggish at best. Other adaptations arose to deal with the climate.
They have doubled in size and have adapted for the hot weather. They have grown a sail-like flap on their back. This flap is filled with blood vessels that pump blood to the flap that gets cooled down by the air and pumped through out to the air. The skin on the green top part of the body also has light colored thin skin to keep them cool.
