Ancestor:Descendants:

The netwhorl split from its ancestor but is quite similar. The feathery tentacles on each arm has fused together, creating four nets that catch microorganisms. The netwhorl has no means of navigation other than four primitive eyes that can detect some light. Other than that the netwhorl is exactly like its ancestor.
