The nectarling is an offshoot of the norat. It has adapted to be a nectarivore, feeding on the sugar-trunked balloonarch. The two incisors adapt to pierce the membrane of the yellow nectar bubbles. The nectarling then digs its snout in, and laps up the nectar. It is yellow and pink to match the color of the sugar-trunked balloonarch.
They still live in groups, and they are constantly going from balloonarch to balloonarch.
