The mountain dweller is a split from the prosubigosaurus. It left the forests to feed on the plants living in the rocky regions, such as the purple poison shrub and the berry puffplant. It uses all 5 limbs to gain high stability. The neck and head are elongated, so that it can reach plants hidden between rocks or hanging at the edges of cliffs. Due to the lack of predators in this area, the mountain dwellers do not use their changing colors for camouflage, but for sunbathing and for communication within the herd. They are a little bit smaller than their ancestors.
