The microprobi genus group replaced their ancestors the ocean yanprobi, hexla yanprobi, unkropi, and yanviru. Like their ancestors they have 3 proboscises which can be either separate or fused into 1 single proboscis. They can grow 3 to 6 flagellum to help them get around and have olive green chloroplasts to absorb sunlight. Their main diet is the cytoplasm of other microbes and will use their proboscises suck it out. They can be found in both saltwater and fresh water as well as from polar to tropical waters. Some even live deep under the ocean or water tables. However those who live in the darkness have dormant photosynthesis. They reproduce via mitosis.
