Megasceletus praetereo replaced its ancestor. Megasceletus praetereo is mainly just a larger form of Sceletus praetereo. When a number of Sceletus praetereo bumped into each other they fused together and the Megasceletus praetereo was born. They still drift without control and fragment to reproduce, however, the cell membrane have thickened making fragmentation somewhat harder. As the Megasceletus praetereo now is larger they also consume smaller cells.
