Magnum carpotesta luceremundare is larger, faster, and more aggressive than its smaller ancestor, carpotesta luceremundare. Its sticky mouth membrane has become more concave and it has developed 6 proto-eyes, with which it can detect the direction of light. It is not accrual camouflages but made to be seen when it swims. Its dark belly show up from below and is white back makes it easier to spot from above and the lights at along is sides makes it easy to track. Other magnum carpotesta luceremundare use this to track each other. They live at a medium depth.
