Splitting from its ancestor, the liram moved to the Twilight Floor of LadyM Ocean. It has developed a new defense strategy against predators. All of its tentacles and its tail can now detach from the main body, leaving them to the predator while the liram escapes. After that the lost part will slowly regrow. Because of that its size is doubled for a longer tail. Now it filter-feeds microbes not only the whorl. Because its bigger, it can feed on bigger prey such as the echofin. To ease the swallowing process its spikes can now rotate to 50 degrees, like a limb, very rapidly to chop up its food. Like its ancestor, it has 8 eyes inside its mouth which it uses to search for the glowing pollinating darkswarmer, these eyes will fall off and grow back again about once a month.
