The lightnings replaced their ancestors the golden lightning, the penitoflora aquanus and the mainland penitoflora coli. Like its ancestors, these microbes perform the task of removing pathogens from the environment. The cilla along their outer membrane allow them to spread around their environment and chase down their prey. They prefer to live in the digestive tracts of macro organisms, particularly those of the Mancerxa lineage. They are quite the adaptive bunch, preventing many common diseases from becoming pandemics. Individuals live for a 2 weeks, conducting cellular fission at the end of their lives
