Ancestor:Descendants:

The leafruit humm split from its ancestor, the rainforest humm. It has grown to twice its ancestors size. It has double the amount of photosythetic leaves at the top and grows leaf-fruit on its trunk. These maroon leaves are sugary and attract frugivores. On the outside they are sticky with nectar and pollen. Their top sails can make a long droning sound which can almost hypnotize herbivores to come. This attracts the herbivores that can hear. Also when herbivores knock the tree this can allow the airborne spores at the top to travel in the wind.
