The killer-gliding plents evolved from the jet-glider plents. Sometimes when a jet-glider plent was eating sky trees, it accidentally ate some plentutri that lived between the leaves. They discovered that eating plentutri gave them much more energy than when they would only eat sky balloons or sky trees. Some of them started hunting the plentutri as a food source, and their children learned it too. There was just one problem: when they swallow a plentutri alive it could start pecking its insides, which could result in the death of the killer-gliding plent. Because of this, they developed a sharp beak which they use to kill the plentutri. They also developed better wings for chasing the plentutri and larger air sacs for powerful bursts of speed. Their eyes are bigger, too, so they can spot the plentutri that are sitting on the sky tree's leaves. They do still eat the sky balloons and sky trees, they just need less of them because the plentutri are giving them more energy.
