The kelpeg evolved to survive only on the many microscopic plants that are abundant in the Jujubee ocean. They are double the size of their ancestor, Cnidolium simplistica, which is now extinct in this area. they have lost their needle-like mouth in exchange for a beak. Millions congregate each year to release their spores, which fuse to make a new kelpeg. One kelpeg can have one parent or several, depending on how many fused.
