The keensnapper replaced its ancestor on Krakow Island. A chance mutation gave it an extra eye, increasing its spacial awareness, this has become especially useful with the number of aggressive sea creatures around Krakow. Its skimming jaw is shorter and oriented forward, allowing the jaw to be used as a stabbing as well as a grabbing tool. Other than these changes, it is the same as its ancestor.

Individuals live for 5 years, breeding the same as its ancestor. Chicks are born with red feathers to blend in with the roots of crystal flora. As they age, the feathers fade in color.
