The jlindohve replaced its ancestor, the jaydohve, within the Raq Temperate Beach and Coast. Unlike its ancestor, the jlindohve is pure white, which allows it to blend in with the white sands of the Raq Temperate Beach. It has also become larger in order for it to consume the scuttleball gillfin. Because it feeds on the scuttleball gillfin, it has also spread out to the rest of the beaches in Dixon.
Much like its ancestor, the jlindohve is still quite aggressive and will snap and vomit at other creatures that get too close to their territory. The jlindohve also migrates much like its ancestor, though in this case, the jlindohve lives around the northern side of Dixon during the winter and it migrates down to the southern side of Dixon to breed during the summer.
