The ironrust mesa is a huge deposit of iron in which the sandstone around it has eroded away. Its outer shell has a rusty flakes while inside is mostly iron. This mesa is an important resource for the desert magneferrubiota kingdom which consume iron. It is around 400 meters tall. It is continually eroding and being consumed by the iron eating species in the region. During the hot summer days it metallic ore becomes red hot and will glow long after the sun sets. In extreme heat it will even become semi-liquid and will melt and drip.
