The ichthy river netwhorl split from its ancestor and moved into Ichthy Marsh and Ichthy River to fill the niche of a swimming filter-feeder. They tend to swim in large schools near the edges of the water where the current isn't as strong since their nets cause drag. Other that and them living in fresh water they are not much different from their ancestors.
