The iceberg foi split from its ancestor, the King foi and inhabited the North Polar Coast there it evolved a new diet of macro-fauna as well as its old diet. First in order to survive the icy cold water it's darker than its ancestor in order to absorb more sunlight. It also uses the anti-freezing materials in many of its preys such as the ones the ice swarmers release and after it digests them it reuses them in its own cells. Most importantly without any vascular system it has no danger of its blood freezing. It now spends most of the day stuck to icebergs or swimming between them feeding on microorganisms. If it is lucky it stumbles upon ice swarmers or creeping starfloras, which it can feed on as well using its digestive acids it releases from its belly.
