The ice swarmer is a split of the green swarmer. It adapted to the cold of the North Polar Coast. Though it still feeds on photosynthesis, it mainly feeds on microscopic animals living on the surface of the ice. To eat them, the ice swarmer's mouth changed, so that its opening is directed down. Also the ice swarmers do not need to desalt water to drink, because it spits out a special anti-freezing substance, which is stored inside its body while eating, so that the ice melts and the fresh water is sucked up by the swarmers while grazing the ice's surface.
