The hunchskunik replaced its ancestor, the hunched diveskunik. It has doubled in size so much that it has to hunch down to pollinate the hunched glasstower. Its fuzzy arms catch the glasstower's sticky pollen and help spread it to other glasstowers. In return it gets to eat the fertilized fruit inside. In addition the seeds it spits out from the fruit also help grow more glasstowers.
Like its ancestor, the hunchskunik spawns inside where the pools grow cryodome hydroutine. The offspring feed on the microbes and sugary water. Eventually they make their way out of the tube before they get too big. When the female is ready, she will spit her genetic material into the inner pool of the glasstower. This scent is then picked up by males who come by to find fruit. Thus sensing her genetic material they too fertilize it with theirs.
