The hunched glasstower replaced its ancestor, the glass tower in Slarti Polar River. It has become more symbiotic with the hunched diveskunik. Rather than exposing the top in a bowl it has developed a hollow tube going off to the side. This protects the internal bowl from the elements. However it can still be "pollinated" by the hunched diveskunik, for it is the only species which has a long enough limb to reach inside.
Inside are both the male and female organs. The male organs produce sticky pollen which attach to the arm of the hunched diveskunik. When visiting other glasstowers the pollen will fall off and transfer its genetic material to it. The female parts grows the fertilized fruit in which the hunched diveskunik are reaching in for. After eating the fruit the hunched diveskunik will later spit out the glass-like seed inside the fruit, Thus spreading its seeds to a new location.
The hunched diveskunik also spawn inside where the pools grow cryodome hydroutine. The offspring feed on the microbes and sugary water. Eventually they make their way out of the tube before they get too big. Like their ancestor the hunched glasstower will inject sugars into its central chamber to stimulate hydroutine growth, and feed on the hydroutine during the droughts.
