The hookahshroom split from its ancestor, the grailshroom. They have grown larger and have become poisonous. They have developed bright colors to ward off herbivores. They have also change their reproduction from fruit-like spores to airborne spores. It has developed a semi-symbiotic relationship with the hookahworm. They eat the spores that come out of their "spore pipes" and will help spread the spores to other hookahshrooms that get stuck to them.
