Ancestor:Descendants:

Herbivorous sea finworm replaced the sea finworm. With the jet worm and bubblepede in direct competition for food caused it to evolve to be faster, bigger and more efficient. One major adaptation is a beak to help it eat flora just like a beakworm. They have stripes to confuse predators like the carnivorous sea finworm. They also school, so the stripe patterns will confuse any predator. The eyes have moved to either side of the tail; thus it has 3 eyes on one side and 3 on the other, which are all offset by one segment. Unlike its ancestors it only grows 6 tail segments. It lays its eggs in the purple sea bubbleweed. Unlike beakworms it must come up to the surface for air.
