Ancestor:Descendants:

The gushazure replaced its ancestor, the anipedia gusherwurm and its relative the azure gusherwurm. It drinks only the blue copper blood on anipedes. This can range to the small boring centiworm which it will suck dry to the huge rainforest centiworm which it can gorge on for as long as it can stay on.

It has gained many more iron spikes on its back to keep its hosts from brushing them off. It has more complex feet to hang on and many more nostrils to sniff out blood from farther away. Even its front mandibles now face down to not only latch on but spread apart the exoskeleton segments of its prey.

Like its ancestor its larvae just feed on the iron rich dirt within its range. They cannot spread to Dixon even though there are plenty of anipedes to feed on. However Dixon has very little iron and thus they cannot make their iron exoskeletons without it.
