The guloglut split from its ancestor, the joviglut and moved to Barlowe Tundra. They prey upon the whiskerpick but will also scavenge for food. They have grown to twice their ancestors size and have become well adapted to the cold. They have woolly fur, a short head, smaller ears, smaller eyes and even a shorter tail. Their limbs are stalker and their claws are sharper to walk on the ice and snow.
They have sharp fangs and claws to get though the quills and woolly fur of the whiskerpick. They work as a pack to take down the young, old or sick. They prefer the young since they do not have as many quills. However they have great regenerating powers so any cuts or stabbings from their prey quickly heal. They are white in color to blend in the snow and sneak up on their prey.
They are very social and will play with each other when not hunting. They are warm blooded and give birth to live young which live in the female's pouch. They stay in there drinking milk until they are about a year old. They will drink the milk from the pouch even after they are too big. This lasts for another year. They do not dig burrows and are active year round. There is always an alpha male who is typically larger than the rest. he gets right to the females. If a male challenges the alpha they will roar at each other and even fight. The winner becomes the new alpha and the loser must be submissive or leave the pack.
