Splitting from their ancestor, the grelter adapted to life in the air. They are less reliant on the water, but they have to dive regularly in order to moisturize their skin. To protect them from predators, their underbellies are light blue to blend into the sky. They spawn every year at lowest tide near coasts and rocks, in order to prevent the greatest number of predators from getting at their prey.
