The Greedy Irisiri split from its ancestor. The Greedy Irisiri lives on the tails of Sail Gillfins, in the sticky membrane. It uses this membrane as one of its food sources. If the sail gillfin its on has eggs growing on its tail, the Greedy Irisiri will use its two pseudopod structures to grasp a portion of the egg and eat at it. If there are no eggs currently it lets them dangle freely and uses these 'limbs' to absorb various free-floating minerals in the water. The green structure at the base of the pseudopod is a chemical receptor that can "sniff out" the chemical scent of other Irisiri much more efficiently than its ancestor.
