The next creature in the carnivorous chain of plents is the grasping plent. This name is slightly misleading, as it doesn't actually hold onto its prey like a hand would. Instead, it simply holds the prey down, so that it may consume it. Its legs have also gotten longer, which has increased its speed. Their eyes have also increased in function, allowing them to see moving shapes well enough to tell what is prey. Their sound feeling membrane has also increased in function. Their leaves have degraded in size, and their primary function is now to stabilize the plent while it's running, though they can still photosynthesize.
