The glowing bandersnatch split from its ancestor. In order to adapt to the cold and sparse Blitz Polar Beach, it got bigger and became a scavenger. It eats anything that washes up on the beach. It has lost a few unnecessary toes and fingers. They still live in flocks just like their ancestors. However, due to the storms that can occur in the Blitz Polar Beach, they had to evolve a new way of communication. This came from the luminescent bandersnatch's tiny patches, which evolved into glowing "wart-lights" on its arms and rear. These "wart-lights" are easily seen by other members of the flock, which makes it easy to help them find their way back with the rest of the flock. They no longer fly, but instead jump high because flight can waste a lot of needed energy. They have also evolved a third butt-nostril that help them breath in more air.
