Ancestor:Descendants:

The globerope replaced the stickyglobes on the western Beaches of Glicker. They are pretty much the same as their ancestors except they have lost the ability to float. With so many gliding slugworms jumping off of them and eating them they were bound to land on the sands. Those that survived being pushed down evolved stronger root systems to take advantage of the soil. They grow in long chains and eventually get knocked off by fauna or the wind. They roll around and then regrow again once they take root. The beaches look like they are covered in purple ropes sprawled out everywhere.
