Ancestor:Descendants:

The gilllegs replaced its ancestor, the dark mekoroach. It lives much like its ancestor feeding on dead fauna and filter-feeding with its bristles tentacles. It has evolved many gills on its legs to absorb more oxygen rather than breathing through its skin. Their upper beak goes down its back a bit with spines to help protect it from predators. When they rest they will sleep in burrow they have dug with their clawed feet. Their skin is now more pale since they no longer need to protect themselves from the sun.
