The gillrom replaced its ancestor in the southern oceans of Sagan 4. With the pressure of the shardgill the gillrom had to evolve some faster locomotion. Its line of tendil-like filaments have multiplied, and form a pair of lateral fins which greatly increase its speed. Other than this change it is the same as its ancestor.
