The murkworm was well-adapted to the aquatic environment and grew more. Its body is more flexible and allows for better movement. Very similar to its ancestor, the giant murkworm only developed some lumps between its segments, beyond to develop more paddles. These lumps facilitate its movement in the water and help it to move away from some predators.
