The fuzzcoat spilt from its ancestor, the woollycoat. Due to the glacial retreat, the woollycoat was able to migrate to warmer temperatures. Over time, they lost their wool and became larger, due to the lack of predators in its new habitat. The fuzzcoat returns to Drake Tundra for mating purposes each year. During the gestation period, which lasts for approximately 5 months, the male will hunt for food to bring back to its partner. They are often found in group ranging from 100 to 200 during this period. Once all females have given birth, the herd returns to either, the Drake Rocky or Drake High Grassland, until the next year when the cycle starts again.
