Ancestor:Descendants:

The frilled greenscale replaced its ancestor, the greenscale, within its range. It has evolved cloven hoofs to help it climb up rocky terrain. Like its ancestor it has photosythetic scales all over its body. These work great in the constant sun of the high desert and grassland. Both males and females have neck frills, however the males are larger and brightly colored, while the females are green like their bodies. Males also have larger cheek spikes which they will use in fights with other males over females. Once paired off, the parents will both raise the young once they have been born. They have 2 to 3 offspring at a time. Once old enough to walk, they will join the greater herd and migrate around the island of Vivus for food.
