Ancestor:Descendants:

Four-limb saganchaos replaced its ancestor in Yokto River and spreading to both the Yokto Marsh and Yokto Temperate Forest, due to its significant adaptation to move on land. This works by the four-limb saganchaos using its four "limbs" (which, although distinct, still retain similarity to saganchaos in that they constantly fluctuate in form) to push its way through surface soil particles.

Four-limb saganchaos still resides aquatically as well, where it acts primarily as a consumer of smaller cells, but is actually more successful on land, where it digests nutrients from the soil and decaying organic matter, and has no predators of competition. Like its ancestor, it can contain up to hundreds of nuclei as it grows larger, which commonly happens on land, where it can reach up to half a centimeter wide.

For reproduction, four-limb saganchaos uses a unique function, as individuals, when coming in contact with each other, will commonly fuse together, exchange nuclei, then split up again. This fusing tactic is also used by large groups in order to migrate to a new area when one patch of soil runs out of nutrients.
