Ancestor:Descendants:

The fluffytree hoverswent replaced its ancestor, the hoverswent in the Southern rainforests and woodlands of Glicker. Since the skys were dominated by its relative the skyswent it adapted to a new diet of fluffytree leaves and puffs. While it can still fly it will spend most of its day hanging upside down from fluffytrees eating and digesting. They have developed a spike claw on the end of their wings in order to grip the trunks. They also have adapted a hard beak in order to bite off the leaves. They no longer have a filter like their ancestors did. To help grind up its food it must eat stones. Like its ancestor it can still photosynthesize with its wing membranes. It uses orange photosynthesis which means it only absorbs blue light. They also have become hermaphroditic rather than asexual. This promotes genetic diversity within the population.
