The flat sandworm split from the mudworm. Its body has flattened even more, and it lives in the sands of the Glicker-Wright Reef. On one side, it is camouflaged to look like the sand, while on the other, it still retains its greenish hue. Its flippers have flattened out more and are used to bury itself under purplish sand. It uses scent and vibrations to find where it is going. Its microlungs have evolved a bit, and it can last longer underwater than its ancestor, but it still needs to go up to the surface to catch air. Its diet consist of urchips, sitting filtersquids, bubblepedes, and swimmerpedes if it can catch them. Basically, they just lay still until one passes by. It must also look out for parrotworms in the water and seaplents in the air, because they will eat it if they get the chance.
