Breathing and Blood

Finworms breath air much like their ancestors the twelve-winged worm did. The only finworm to develop gills was the cave finworm. Their blood is red like all worms.

Diet & Energy

Most finworms are herbivores, but a small line descended from the carnivorous sea finworm were predators.

Evolution

The Fin Worm, The Fin Worm was the first Finworm.

Finworms are the result of the twelve-winged worms attempt to escape the parasitic insaneshroom and the predatory wingworm catcher. The first finworms lived in the Bone River and Bone Swamp, their descendants moved into the ocean, and the descendants of those moved back into the river.

Locomotion

Finworms use their fins for swimming and can also move their bodies from side to side too. A small line descended from the jet worm used water-jet propulsion to move about in the water.

Reproduction

All finworms lay eggs and are hermaphrodites.
