The feces shellworm split from its ancestor the hungry shellworm and spread to the hotter western Wright. There it has adapted to a diet of dung and feces solely. It evolved a bigger stronger shell for protection and when is hunted it can bury itself in the sand using its back shovel legs. Its sensor horn grew smaller as they are less used. It is nocturnal burying itself in times of day coming out in the colder nights to feed.
