Splitting from its ancestor, the electro quillbush came about when several of the spores of its ancestors took root within the depths of Electro Limestone Caves. Since then, the descendants of these have evolved to tolerate the lower light levels, as well as grow at a slower rate so as to conserve energy. Far spreading roots help them to gather what nutrients they need from the waste of the caves other inhabitants. With few herbivores to eat them, however, they have formed lush mini-forests that cover almost every available surface, giving the portions of the caves closer to the entrances a somewhat 'fuzzy' appearance. Other than this, they have not changed much from their ancestors.
