When the spikedshell bubblehorns of Somarinoa Beach didn't hide or were searching for food they were vulnerable to attack from bigger, hungry creatures. The spikedshell bubblehorn was therefor forced to evolve its mimic and due to macroevolution it evolved an entirely new look and shape of its shell. The shell now mimics dung, though it is as hard as before it resembles dung very closely and works as the ultimate mimic. To keep the "glitter" of dung it roll around in real dung every now and then. They also have small graspers to take the dung to the mouth instead of using the olfactory sensors since using the sensors decreased their sensitivity along with their usefulness. The dunghorn replaced the spikedshell bubblehorn on Somarinoa Beach.
