Ancestor:Descendants:

The double bubblgea split from its ancestor and moved to Raq Temperate Bay. Due to the hospitable environment it has doubled in size.

Its main change is its bubble apparatus, which via random mutation has doubled in size. The upper set of leaves have changed slightly also: now there are three sets of upper leaves, each starting as bumps on the top of the upper bubble and slowly grow downward (reaching full growth in a year), once they reach the halfway mark they will die and drop off in order to be replaced by the next set of leaves. The "root-tentacles" have cells in the center that store energy (in a similar way to earth tubers).

Individuals live for about three years (thus you can tell how old an individual is by looking at its top leaves). They will begin producing buds off of their "root-tentacles" at about 2 years, each young flora taking out 2 weeks to mature; the immature flora is small enough to be bouyant, and as it gets bigger develops its bubbles.
