The double-nostril joviglut replaced its ancestor in Jaydoh Savanna Island. Do to the abundance of herbivores and the lack of predators it has expanded its diet to include most of the medium to large creatures of the island, however it still eats some flora if prey is hard to get. Their method of hunting prey involved sneaking up to a group and ambushing individuals on the edges by clobbering them with their very muscular front limbs; this is extremely useful for preying on bellowmari "herds" as it keeps from setting off the veritable mine field of sound that could result from being spotted. They have changed very little from their ancestor except for growing in size and increasing the complexity of their respiratory system. By a strange mutation they have 2 sets of nostrils; this increase in oxygen intake has resulted in their lung capacity expanding somewhat, giving them a robust look.
