The dixon finback replaced its ancestor on Dixon. Behaviorally, it hasn't changed much from its ancestor, besides expanding its territory into both the Northern coast and inland rivers. Physically, it has become more agile, having a compact, tapered body and a tail designed for short bursts of speed. It's nostril-fin is taller, which allows it to swim farther below the water's surface while breathing; this ability expands it's hunting range to a deeper depth. It's body is now striped to with white, helping it blend in with the ripples of water and the white mud of the river.
